The biggest question for one of the top athletes in the Show Me State is how committed is he to the state's top school, the University of Missouri.
Marquise Hill of Trinity Catholic High School in St. Louis was the first commitment for the 2010 class for Gary Pinkel and the Mizzou Tigers.
Since that pledge Hill has taken several other unofficial visits to other schools, appearing to be keeping his options somewhat open.
Hill and his mother spent Friday and Saturday in Columbia this past weekend. Did the trip change his commitment status from a soft verbal to a solid commitment?
"We had a great trip, my mom thought it was really nice," Hill told InsideMizzou.com Tuesday. "She really liked Coach (Gary) Pinkel a lot. I'm definitely still committed to Mizzou, but I'm still going to take other visits and check out every option before making a final decision."
According to Hill, his mother wants him to explore every school that has offered or going to offer him a scholarship.
"She just feels that I owe it to myself to see everything," Hill said. "She will take a visit with me to every campus."
Hill got a chance to watch a Tiger practice first hand last Saturday morning, something he hadn't been able to do before.
"I definitely can see myself playing for Missouri," Hill said. "I noticed one thing from watching practice. When you make the transition from high school to college football you have to come hard everyday and bring your best every practice."
Hill is being recruited as an athlete at Mizzou, and is expected to get an opportunity to play wide out for the high powered Tiger offense.
"I really enjoyed getting to know the entire coaching staff," Hill said. "I enjoyed hanging out with the current team; they are already making me feel a part of their family."
