Missouri is known across the country as a team that loves to throw the football.

That seems to attract a lot of quarterbacks, wide receivers and athletes who want to be difference makers, those who want to be playmakers.

InsideMizzou.com visited with Shreveport Louisiana's L'Damian Washington Tuesday afternoon and confirmed that the big wide out will be in Columbia Missouri this weekend.

"Yes sir I will be at Missouri this weekend," Washington said. "LSU called and wanted me to take a visit there this weekend, but they haven't offered me, Missouri has."

While Washington didn't rule out a last minute change, he seemed very excited about taking a trip to Mizzou.

"I have heard a lot of great things about the school," Washington said. "I know they throw the ball a lot, I know about Jeremy Maclin and Chase Daniel."

Washington is looking forward to meeting head coach Gary Pinkel.

"I have spoken to Coach Pinkel a couple of times," Washington said. "I'm looking forward to getting to know him a lot better. I'm very excited about my trip this weekend."

Washington is committed to Louisiana Tech for a while now, but has taken official visits to Nebraska and now Missouri.

"Yes I'm still committed to LA Tech, we will have to see if that is where I end up after signing day," Washington said. "I want to take my visits and make sure I'm making the right decision."
