Going to combines, summer camps and junior days are all on the agenda for one Nebraska High School 2010 prospect.
Nick Mizaur of Omaha Nebraska has been working hard on attending camps and combines, in efforts to better his recruiting stock for the upcoming year. One combine that the talented athlete and running back attended earlir this month is the Army All-American combine that was held in San Antonio.
One school that Mizaur is currently interested in is the University of Missouri. After attending a Tiger summer camp last year, Mizaur left impressed with the Mizzou coaching staff and system.
"I have a lot of interest in Missouri," Mizaur told InsideMizzou.com last week. "Recruiting is going well, Missouri is sending me a lot of mail right now. I enjoyed their camp last summer, I like their coaching staff a lot."
Mizaur, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound athlete who runs a 4.5 forty, rushed for over 1,300 yards as a junior, scoring 16 touchdowns on the ground. He was named All-Metro and All conference honors for his standout season.
While Mizaur hasn't received any official offers yet, other schools recruiting him other than Missouri are Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota.
"I plan on taking an unofficial trip to Columbia this spring or summer," Mizaur said. "I hope to go to one of their one day camps on their campus this summer.
