Not everyone in Kansas likes or has interest in the Missouri Football program.

A big part of it has to do with the heated rivalry that has developed over the years between the Jayhawks and the Tigers.

One exception to the rule is 2010 quarterback Blake Bell from Wichita Kansas. The Scout.com four star signal caller confirmed with InsideMizzou.com last week, he definitely has interest in the Missouri football program.

"I have a lot of interest in Missouri," Bell said. "I like their offense a lot, I have watched a lot of their games keeping up with family friend Chase Coffman's career."

The 6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect finished the 2008 season with over 3,200 yards passing with 37 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. He plans to wait a while before making a decision, but he could decide before the 2009 season.

The talented signal caller currently holds official offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Miami, Arizona and Colorado State.

"Missouri hasn't offered me yet, hopefully they will," Bell said. "They are sending me a lot of letters and showing a lot of interest so far."

Bell has grown up around football all of his life. His father Mark and his uncle Mike Bell both played in the NFL, the younger Bell grew up with a football in his hand.

"I love the game that's for sure," Bell said. "It was fun growing up around it all the time. We are big time Kansas City Chief fans, we go to most of their games."

Bell is looking forward to taking an unofficial visit to Columbia later this spring, he has heard nothing but great things about the campus and school from his Missouri friends.

While Bell admits liking Missouri, he is quick to point out another football program he is impressed with.

"I like Kansas a lot," Bell said. "They are probably my early favorite, but I plan on keeping an open mind and check out all the schools that offer me before making a final decision."

While Bell doesn't set a time table on making a decision, he won't hesitate to pull the trigger once he finds that perfect fit.

"If it comes to me, and I like the school I will make my decision," Bell said. "I could see myself making a decision before the start of next season."

"I am going to look at the coaches and academics. Football can only take you so far. I want to see how the offense is run and stuff like that."

Bell earned First team All-State honors last fall and was named Kansas' Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior.

Currently Bell has made plans to attend junior days at Oklahoma, Kansas and Kansas State.
