Texas Pass-Rusher Still has MU in Top Spot
Mizzou was the first school to offer the 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end from Klein (Tex.) High School. Marshall has since offered, while Cal, Houston and Michigan State are taking a long look and could offer after seeing some game film from his first few games. Youboty, a pass-rushing specialist, said Mizzou remains in the top spot with him, though he plans to take a few visits this fall before committing.
"I wanted to visit Missouri but I didn't make it out there," he said. "I'll definitely be visiting."
Youboty has formed a good relationship with MU assistant Brian Jones and is a fan of Mizzou's defensive philosophy as well as it's conference affiliation.
"He seems like a real cool coach. You can tell he's down to earth," Youboty said. "They play in the Big 12, and I've always watched the Big 12 … I also like how they play an attacking defense. They let their defensive linemen make plays instead of reading and reacting."
We should get Youboty's read on Mizzou and his reaction after a visit early this fall.
