Lockett Looking Hard At Mizzou

ShowMeMizzou.com has the latest on one of their to defensive back targets for their 2015 football recruiting class.

Missouri offer and 2015 CB prospect William Lockett 6’0” 190 Manvel (TX) has informed ShowMeMizzou.com that he will take an official visit to Missouri on August 29th. He also updated us on the current status of his recruitment.

“Missouri will be my first official visit,” said Lockett. “I’m coming in for the first game.”

Lockett currently holds offers from Houston, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Oregon State, Purdue, Tulsa, UCLA, and Washington, in addition to Missouri.

He said that he’s been talking to Missouri assistant coach Craig Kuligowski.

“I love Mizzou,” said Lockett. “Me and Coach Kool have a good relationship.”

This summer, Lockett posted a personal best 4.49 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

He said that his mother and his sister will accompany him on his Missouri visit.

“I’m going to see how the official (visit) goes,” said Lockett. “I just want to see what it’s like.”

Lockett said that he also wants to take an official visit to UCLA. He’s not sure where he might take his other official visits. He’s also considering Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, and Texas. The Longhorns have yet to offer.
