On Thursday, Missouri received a verbal commitment from 2015 WR prospect Emanuel Hall 6’3” 194 Franklin (TN) Centennial. Afterwards, Hall spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com about his decision.“I feel like Missouri is the best fit for me,” said Hall, who said he informed Missouri wide receivers coach Pat Washington of his decision just minutes before he announced his decision on twitter. “It feels great! I feel very good about my choice. Now, I can go the whole year knowing that I’m a Missouri commit. It’s definitely great to be a part of Missouri.”

Hall chose Missouri over offers from Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Missouri. In the end, he had narrowed things down, and following his recent unofficial visit to Missouri, he chose the Tigers over Louisville, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.

Hall cited his relationship with Missouri wide receivers coach Pat Washington, the academics at Missouri, the family atmosphere at Missouri, and the wide receiver friendly Missouri offense, as among the reasons he chose Missouri.

“Coach Washington was really excited,” said Hall. “He said that he was excited for me to get there for my freshman year.”

Hall is a multi-sport athlete who plays basketball and runs track for Centennial, in addition to playing football. His personal best is 11.04 seconds in the 100 meters, to go along with a 6’8” high jump. His personal best in the 40-yard dash is a hand-timed 4.45 seconds. He has been laser-timed at 4.51 seconds in the forty. He also reported personal bests of 41” in the standing vertical, 4.21 seconds in the 5-10-5 shuttle, and a bench max of 325 pounds.

He’s academically qualified, and on pace to graduate next May. He talked about some of the reasons he chose Mizzou.

“It just feels like a family,” explained Hall. “That’s the feeling that I got from the coaches, both academically and athletically. And also, I think the Missouri coaching staff can take me to the NFL, which is my ultimate goal.”

Hall said he is relieved to have made his decision.

“Now, I can focus on my senior season,” said Hall.

And, he said that his recruitment is over.

“Like I’ve said, and like I told Coach Washington and Coach Henson, when I commit, I’m committed,” explained Hall. “Those are now my future coaches. And, I’m not looking to go anywhere else………………………………… I feel like Missouri can put me in the best position to be successful in my future.”

Hall is planning to take an official visit to Missouri during the season, but he wasn’t sure of the exact date.
