Williams Has Missouri Under Consideration

The Missouri Tigers continue to target line prospects for 2015. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with a prospect who talked about the Missouri offer, and about his interest in the Tigers. And, he updated us on his recruitment.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Missouri offer and 2015 DT prospect Raequan Williams 6’5” 280 Chicago (IL) Gordon Tech, who talked about the Missouri offer, and about his interest in the Tigers. And, he updated us on his recruitment.

“I like Missouri,” said Williams, who said that he speaks frequently with Missouri assistant Craig Kuligowski. “Missouri’s not that far away from home. It’s a good program. I’m giving Missouri serious consideration.”

Williams currently holds offers from Akron, Arizona, Arizona State, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Penn State, Tennessee, and Western Michigan, in addition to Missouri.

Williams, who also plays basketball at Gordon Tech, took an unofficial visit to Missouri earlier this summer. He said that he was impressed with the facilities, as well as with the coaching staff. He categorized his interest level in Missouri as “high”.

“Missouri’s a good program,” said Williams, who intends to take an official visit to Missouri later this year.

Williams said that he hasn’t narrowed things down at present, but he named Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa, Kentucky, Penn State, Tennessee, and Missouri as the schools that he likes. He’s planning to narrow things down before the season, and then take his official visits during and after the season. He said that he’ll probably wait to make a decision until after he’s taken his official visits.
