DT Adams Updates On Missouri

Earlier this week, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Missouri offer and 2015 DT prospect Fletcher Adams from Brandon (MS), who shared some of his thoughts about Missouri, and he also updated us on his recruitment.

Earlier this week, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Missouri offer and 2015 DT prospect Fletcher Adams 6’3” 260 Brandon (MS), who shared some of his thoughts about Missouri, and he also updated us on his recruitment.

“I’m interested in Missouri,” said Adams. “You know, they’re a big-time SEC school. And, I’m really interested in Missouri.”

Adams has reported offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Mississippi State, North Carolina, and Ole Miss, in addition to Missouri. And, he has recently identified narrowed lists that include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Missouri.

I asked Adams which are his schools of interest?

“Besides Missouri, there’s Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Alabama,” replied Adams, who has yet to take any visits. “Those are the main ones that have been recruiting me pretty hard. And Louisville.”

Adams said that he’s planning to visit Ole Miss, Florida, and Alabama this month.

He also said that he might visit Missouri this month.

“I’m not sure if I’ll get a chance to visit Missouri this month,” said Adams, who named Missouri assistant Craig Kuligowski as his “recruiting coach”. “It’s going to be hard, but I’m going to try to visit Missouri this month.”

Adams reported a personal best of 4.81 seconds in the 40-yard dash, to go along with a 34” standing vertical jump, and a bench press max of 305 pounds. He also puts the shot for his school's track team.

Adams did intimate that he plans to play SEC football. He said that he doesn’t have a list of favorite schools, and that he doesn’t have a decision timeline per se, although he did say that it would “probably be late summer”.
