Memphis Receiver Adds Missouri Offer

The Missouri Tigers continue their search for talented play making wide receivers with an offer to a productive prospect from the state of Tennessee. ShowMeMizzou.com has the latest regarding his recruitment and Mizzou.

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Memphis University School Head Football Coach Bobby Austin, who confirmed that 2014 WR prospect Devin Perry 6’3” 180 Memphis (TN) University School has received a Missouri offer. Coach Austin spoke about Perry’s Missouri offer.

“I think anytime you get a chance to play in the SEC, that’s certainly going to be enticing,” said Coach Austin.

Perry currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Louisville, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt, among others, in addition to Missouri.

“He’s got some good choices,” explained Coach Austin. “We’ll just have to see where that leads…………………………………………. He’s a really good kid. He’s a good athlete, good student, (and a) good person.”

Memphis University School provides a very challenging academic environment, and education is an important factor for Perry and his family.

As a junior, Perry had 41 receptions for 893 yards and 12 TDs.

Missouri is not the first to offer Perry, who has indicated that his recruitment is still very much open, and that he hasn’t as yet established a timeline for making a decision.
