"Recruiting is going good," said Walker. "Louisville, Western Kentucky, Kentucky and all the Ivy League schools are interested in me the most. I went to Kentucky for camp again and I did pretty well. I'm talking with Coach (Neal) Brown about the camp in further detail," he said.
So while recruiting is definitely high on the priority list for Walker, his senior year is just around the corner and his team has a chance to win the state championship.
"Recruiting is for sure heating up. But I'm mostly just excited for one last year with my team. We're working hard," he said.
Walker joins two other strong running backs in Austin Davis and Treyveon Percell, but one of the biggest improvements for the Tiger offense should come from the quarterback spot, where transfer B.J. Nagle is stepping in.
"We've adjusted great to Nagle. He's a great quarterback and has really adjusted well to us. He knows the coverages and reads defenses really well. He's a great player," he said.
But Walker and his team aren't taking anything for granted.
"We have to work hard and stay focused. Right now, that's what we're doing. We will see what we have when the season comes," Walker finished.
