Georgia Safety Says He Wants To See Mizzou

The Missouri Tigers are targeting the safety positions for adding any additional defensive backs to their 2014 football recruiting class. ShowMeMizzou.com talks with a Peach State athlete who they are putting a lot of effort into landing

Recently, ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2014 safety prospect Dominick Sanders 6’0” 187 Tucker (GA), who holds a Missouri offer, and who is interested in Missouri.

Sanders told ShowMeMizzou.com that he feels that Missouri Assistant Coach Alex Grinch is recruiting him hard. He wants to visit Missouri and become more familiar with the Missouri staff.

Sanders holds offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Iowa State, and Old Dominion, in addition to Missouri.

He’s planning to visit Arkansas, Cincinnati, and Missouri within the next month, with an eye toward making a decision this summer. He said that Arkansas is recruiting him as a corner, and he currently feels a little more comfortable with Arkansas, indicating that he has a good relationship with the Razorback staff.

Sanders plays receiver and also handles returns. He reports a personal best of 4.51 seconds in the forty-yard dash, and a maximum in the bench press of 275 pounds.

“I just like to hit,” explained Sanders, describing his play in the defensive backfield. “I can cover, too. In fact right now, I would say that I’m better in coverage.”
