Missouri Makes 4-Star Safety's Final Three

ShowMeMizzou.com has the latest on a 4-star defensive back that has the Missouri Tigers among his final three schools as he lays out the final stages of his recruitment, including his visit plans.

One of several defensive backs that the Missouri Tigers have checked in on of late is 2013 safety prospect Tyler Foreman  6'2"  195  Encino (CA) Crespi.   Foreman de-committed from Wisconsin last week.

Foreman has two official visits remaining, and he appears to be focused on three schools, including California, UCLA, and Missouri.   Earlier this week, he spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he updated us on his recruitment.

Foreman said that Missouri has offered him a scholarship, and that he recently met with Missouri Assistant Coach Alex Grinch.

“It was pretty good,”   Foreman said, regarding his meeting with Coach Grinch.  “I enjoyed talking to him…………………………………….  He was telling me all about the program, about the school, and how they need a safety.”

Foreman said that at this time, he is “keeping (his) options open”.  He’s looking at taking his final two official visits, but he’s not sure of specifics.  He wants to visit all three schools, including California, UCLA, and Missouri, which he identified as his final three schools.   He’s considering the possibility of taking an unofficial visit to nearby UCLA.

Foreman listed a “good education, good sports programs, great people to be around, and a good area in which to live”, as some of the criteria that he’ll consider when choosing a school.

Foreman also plays basketball and lacrosse.  He reported a 4.6 forty and a 34” vertical jump, to go along with a maximum in the bench press of 315 pounds.

I’ll have more on Foreman later.
