Meighan Simmons leds the Lady Vols with 18 points as Tennessee used a scorching start to put away the Tigers in the first half and stake themselves to a 48-21 lead at the break.
The second half started a bit slow - Holly Warlick is still seeking that elusive complete game - but Tennessee was never threatened, despite the record number of threes lofted by Missouri.
The Tigers set two Thompson-Boling Arena records with three pointers attempted by a team and one player. Morgan Eye shot 17 times from the arc, besting the 15 attempted by UConn's Ann Strother in 2006. The team attempted 36 threes, surpassing the 34 lofted by Georgia in 2011.
Eye was 6-17 for 18 points, and Missouri was 9-36 overall (25.0 percent).
Tennessee has 16 assists and just six turnovers and grabbed 57 boards while allowing Mizzou to get 49.
The Lady Vols next play at Florida on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. (TV: ESPNU).
