"Georgia Tech recently called coach my coach and I returned the call but we haven't talked yet," Leath said. "I talk to Kansas State a lot. I was talking to the coach at Western Kentucky but now he's down here at USF. I still have that full offer with USF."
Leath, 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, said four schools jump out over the rest right now.
Leath has not yet taken any visits but came close to taking one to the school he nearly committed to.
"I was supposed to visit Kansas State but I had to reschedule because I had a family member pass away. I'm trying to schedule one with them soon though."
Leath did catch a couple in-state football games this season in person, and talked about those.
"I watched UCF and USF play games this year. I like both of those schools and the atmosphere of their games."
A big part of the talented lineman's decision will be based on which side of the ball each school wants him to play. He talked more about that.
"Some schools want me to play offense and and some want me to play defense. In the All Star game I played in, I was one of the only ones playing both ways. I honestly like defense a lot more though, I just love hitting the quarterback. I'd rather play defense in college."
