Ohio's Top-Ten Uncommitted Prospects

Although most of the top prospects in Ohio have made their college choices, there are still quality players that remain uncommitted at this point. Who is still on the board and available in-state?

Shelton Gibson. FOUR-STAR. Wide receiver. 6-foot-1, 190-pounds. Has taken official visits to West Virginia and Kentucky. Upcoming visit to Ohio State in mid-January. Nebraska and North Carolina State could round out the final two. THE FAVORITE: Ohio State.

Lovell Peterson. THREE-STAR. Center/Defensive tackle. 6-foot-3, 270-pounds. Has taken an official visit to Kentucky. Michigan State has not offered to date, but could be in the picture. Illinois is still lurking, and Nebraska might be getting involved. THE FAVORITE: Kentucky.

Kyle Meadows. THREE-STAR. Offensive tackle. 6-foot-6, 275-pounds. Has taken official visits to Oklahoma, West Virginia and Louisville. Plans on taking his two final remaining visits, but has not set those up yet. THE FAVORITE: Too close to call.

A.J. Branisel. THREE-STAR. Tight end. 6-foot-4, 225-pounds. Recently decommitted from Cincinnati and has reopened his recruitment. Holds offers from the likes of Nebraska, Tennessee, Louisville, Missouri, and others. THE FAVORITE: Could Branisel be following Butch Jones to Tennessee?

Christopher Worley. THREE-STAR. Linebacker. 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Has visited Ohio State on numerous occasions, and also holds offers from Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Georgia Tech and Illinois. Still has work to do in the classroom. THE FAVORITE: Ohio State.

Aregeros Turner. THREE-STAR. Tailback/slot receiver. 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Recently decommitted from Cincinnati. Has official visits upcoming in January with Tennessee and Kentucky, and is considering others. THE FAVORITE: Tossup between the Wildcats and the Vols.

Kyle Kempt. THREE-STAR. Quarterback. 6-foot-5, 200-pounds. Recently decommitted from Cincinnati. Hearing from the likes of Mississippi State, Oregon State and Tennessee. Still considering where to visit in January. THE FAVORITE: Wide open at this time.

Antoine Miles. THREE-STAR. Defensive end. 6-foot-3, 260-pounds. Recently decommitted from Nebraska. Has official visits set for January to Kentucky and Purdue, and is still taking calls. THE FAVORITE: Purdue.

Tre Williams-Brown. THREE-STAR. Defensive end. 6-foot-3, 230-pounds. Holds offers from the likes of Arizona and most of the MAC programs. There are reports of grade issues, which could be impacting his recruitment. THE FAVORITE: Too tough to call.

Jaleel Hytchye. THREE-STAR. Cornerback. 6-foot, 165-pounds. Has put together a great offer list, and has already taken an official visit to Pittsburgh. Louisville, Kentucky and Tennessee could be visit destinations in January. THE FAVORITE: Too tough to call.
