Sophomore running back Sotonye Jamabo, a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder from Plano West (Texas) High is going to have all the top programs hot on his trail.
Playing against top Class 5A competition Jamabo has helped to lead his Wolves squad to the State Quarterfinals with tough wins over Lufkin (Texas), South Garland (Texas) and Lake Highlands (Texas).
The team has reeled off six straight impressive wins since losing to district champs Allen (Texas) 25-47 back on 10-19 (Jamabo did not play). Throughout the course of the streak Plano West has averaged 47 points per game and the super sophomore has averaged 235 yards per game and scored 22 touchdowns.
