Tiger Defense Comes Up Big In 24-20 Win

The Missouri Tiger defense help save the day late in the 4th quarter behind a Kenronte Walker INT in the end zone to help preserve a 24-20 win for Mizzou over the Arizona State Sun Devils.


The Missouri Tigers were without starting Quarterback James Franklin for tonight’s game again Arizona State, but red-shirt freshman Corbin Berkstresser filled in admirably for the injured Franklin, and did just enough to help lead Mizzou for a hard fought 24-20 win sealed by the Tiger defense at the end.

The Tiger led 24-13 heading into the 4th quarter, but the Sun Devils made a comeback and were trailing 24-20 and  driving for the go ahead score when Kentronte Walker picked off a Taylor Kelly pass in the end zone and brought it out to help Missouri pick up it’s second win of 2012.
