ShowMeMizzou.com spoke to Culkin after his commitment to the Tigers.
"It feels good to tell you that I am a Missouri Tiger," said Culkin." I called and committed to Coach Pinkel about 4 O'clock today. He was pretty excited and said that he was happy to have me join this class, and that he was trying to put together a great class to go in and win the SEC, and that he was glad to have me be part of it."
Culkin visited Missouri on Dec 9th and waited a couple of weeks before committing. I asked what some of the reasons were behind his decision.
" I loved everything about it on my visit and knew I wanted to go there then. When it came down to it Missouri had everything I could have ever wanted in a school, academically, athletically, spritually, socially, so it was really easy to pick them. They met everything on my criteria for picking a school. My visit went great and I just had to come back home and talk things over with my family. My brother and some friends were back in town,so we sat around and talked about, and I had the support of my family, friends and coaches. They all think I made a great choice.,"he said.
Sean also talked about where he saw himself when he arrives in Columbia next June.
"I am going to come in ready to compete and play right away. It will be up to the coaches to decide if I am ready or not and I will rely on them to make the right choice.," said Culkin.
