Tigers Add Texas Lineman To 2012 Class

The Missouri Tigers continued to add to their 2012 football recruiting class by picking up a new addtion to it in the way of a coveted Texas offenseive lineman they have been after.

ShowMeMizzou.com has learned that the Missouri Tigers have picked up a verbal commitment from Denton (TX) Ryan offensive lineman Jordan Williams 6'5" 260lbs.

Williams confirmed to ShowMeMizzou.com that he has committed to the Tigers.

"Yes sir, I did," responded Williams by text.

"I was looking for a great education first.Then a school that has great coaches that I can build a relationship with who are 110% focused on making me the best I can be as a player and student."

Williams then called me and filled me on on why he chose Missouri.

"I called Coach Walker, who has been my recruiting coach from the begining and committed," said Williams. "He and I have really hit it off and have a great relationship. He has talked about his expecations for me and I like the thought him coaching me and pushing. Plus, I will have two O-line coaches making me better at Missouri. Besides that, they are a great place to get an education and I want to go into medicine and be a pharmacist."

Williams said that he will be making his official visit to Missouri in December.

Williams also had offers from and was considering Colorado, Stanford,UCLA and SMU among his school choices.

Coaches seem to like Jordan Williams, size,athletic ability and see the potential for him to play either guard or tackle.
