Lineman Planning Spring Visit To Missouri

2012 offensive line prospect with a Missouri Tiger offer talks about his recruitment and plans to make a visit to Mizzou soon

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke recently with Oklahoma offensive lineman Cayman Bundage 6'2" 280 5.1 forty Oklahoma City (OK) Douglass high school, who picked up his first two offers last week, including one from the Missouri Tigers.

"The University of Missouri offered me about a week ago," said Bundage. "I was really happy. Missouri was actually my second offer. Arkansas offered me first around the same time, but I think both schools are really good, and was happy to get them."

Cayman talked about his familiarity with the Missouri football program.

"I have talked to coach Henson. I really like talking to him and what he says. The Tigers like the way I play and see me on along the inside of the offensive line at either guard or center,"said Bundage. "I  have watched them on TV and they are a good team. I plan to take a visit to Missouri in the next couple of weeks. Sometime during spring practice."

While he plays both offensive guard and defensive tackle in high school, Cayman said that the schools recruiting him see him as an offensive lineman.

I asked him if he had a preference to either center or guard on offense.

" I can play either one. I like both. If they want to play center then I will work on my shotgun snaps more since they play the spread. I just go out and work hard and I like to hit. I'll play wherever I am needed."

Bundage has already taken a junior day visit to Oklahoma State and will be attending one at Arkansas on March 5th.

He told me that the schools recruiting him the most at this time are Missouri, Arkansas,Oklahoma State, Florida State, Oklahoma and Tulsa.

Cayman also listed a top 3 he likes at the moment.

"I would say my favorites right now are Missouri, Arkansas and Florida State", he said.

Bundage does not have a major picked yet for college, and is taking his recruitment in stride at the moment.

"I don't really have a time frame for a commitment," he said. "I plan to just ride it out and take some visits. I'll know when I have found the right school for me."

ShowMeMizzou.com will continue to follow Cayman Bundage's recruitment.
