Official Visit Goes Great For Clarence Green

Future Tiger linebacker bonds with his future teammates and recruits on his official visit to Missouri

The Missouri Tigers hosted a group of 9 prospects including 8 commits and Le'Raven Clark 6'6" 265 OT from Rockdale (TX).

One of the commits who attended was Brazoswood (TX) OLB Clarence Green 6'0" 200lbs 4.47 forty. Green has been committed to Missouri since April and was at the Black and Gold game, as well as in to watch the Tigers last minute victory over San Diego State back in September.

ShowMeMizzou.com caught up with Clarence to get his thoughts on his official visit that happened over last weekend.

"Everything was great!", said Green. "I have been up there a couple of times and it was even better this time. It was great to hang out with the other recruits and to get to know them. All of them were real cool and it was almost like a reunion even though we didn't really know each other at first. Everybody has a great personality and we all got along great. We exchanged numbers and all seemed to like the same things. I hung out mostly with Shane Ray, Brandon Hannah and Cortland Browning. Being part of a smaller class allows us to know everyone better."

Another thing Green was excited about the the chance to show his mother where he would be calling home for the next 4-5 years.

"My Mom, she loved it! She got to see everything, it was only the 3rd time in out life that we have seen snow, so that was fun for us. She got to see the campus and town. It went really well."

Watching the Tigers bowl game practice was also an eye opener for Clarence.

"That was great to see, the intensity and everybody working hard. That is the way we did it at my high school, so I am ready for that once I get here."

Green has been rehabbing a leg injury that caused him to miss all but his first 4 games and says that he has done well with it and is running again. He plans to continue working out and arriving in June for some summer courses.
